Recent Projects

We formed the Endpin Project with the goal for young people to use their excellence in music for outreach, leadership, social activism, programming, and more. It has been a labor of love, but so worth it. It's a cello ensemble made up of incredibly gifted young people from the age of 7 to adults. We also mentor young people with all the aspects of operating a nonprofit organization. Just a few examples of some of our recent projects include:

UNITED UKRAINIAN RELIEF

Collaboration with Chamber Music OC and American Relief Committee

The Endpin Project raised over $45k for the United Ukrainian American Relief Commitee, Inc in a benefit performance in collaboration with Chamber Music OC.

UCI FOR EMERGENCY UKRAINE RESPONSE

UCI FOR EMERGENCY UKRAINE RESPONSE

Collaboration with UCI for Emergency Ukraine Response

The Endpin Project raised over $70k in a benefit performance in collaboration with the University of California Irvine for the UCI Ukraine Emergency Response Fund to help Ukrainian Scholars escape and continue their work and research.

HELPING AFGHAN MUSICIAN REFUGEES ESCAPE

Collaboration with the National Institute of Music

The Endpin Project, through a benefit performance, raised over $4k to help aid the escape and rescue of students of the Afghanistan National Institute of Music who were in grave danger because of the Taliban takeover in Kabul. These efforts started a larger scale movement for musicians to help, which was then written up in the Washington Post and the New York Times.

FRIENDSHIP PARK

Playing for Families

The Endpin Project traveled to Tijuana, where we performed at the border wall for the 30 minutes that families are possibly allowed to gather to see each other through the thick metal grates of the border wall. It was our effort to unite the families through music.
